Chloe 18 Month Update: 2014

Hey everyone! Chloe is 18 months now so she is 1 and half. She is getting so big and is a very active toddler.


Height: 31 Inches

Weight: Chloe is 22 pounds

Teeth: Chloe has about 3 teeth coming in right now. She been teething a lot lately. Two on the top and one at the bottom I think.

Feeding Schedule: Chloe drinks Silk Soy Milk, Water, and Apple Juice. Chloe favorite foods are Raisins, Pickles, and Apples. She will have 3 meals and snacks in the day.

Clothing And Diaper Sizes: Chloe is in 18 month clothing now but can still fit into 12 month clothing. She is in size 4 diapers now. We have been introducing a little potty to her she will usually just sit on it when I go to the bathroom. She is not ready for potty training yet so I won't force her. I do read her a potty book as well.

Sleep Routine: Chloe has been waking me up around 7-8:30AM. Chloe will only take 1 nap now which is around 1 or 2PM. Chloe goes to sleep about 9:30-10PM. Me and Chloe still co-sleep in the same bed. Chloe is still having trouble sleeping at night, she usually will wake me up 1 or 2 times a night. I been working with her to get her to sleep through the night. Our bed time routine usually consist of bath, going on a walk, bed time snack, reading books, brushing teeth, and milk.

Mini Health Update: Chloe had her first dentist appointment which she hated of course. She has no cavities and is using non fluoride tooth paste. She loves to brush her teeth and will ask to do it. Chloe also had a eye appointment which they said she has a slight lazy eye. She doesn't need glasses right now but she goes back in January just to make sure it didn't get worse. Last she had her 18 month update which she got 1 shot and the doctor told us to try giving her gas drops for her sensitive stomach. I also now keep a Health and Food journal for Chloe since she is lactose intolerant and has a sensitive stomach.

Pacifier and Bottle Weaning Update: Chloe still using her pacifier but I been trying to only give it to her when she takes a nap and at night. She knows how to say pacifier or paci and will ask for it. She doesn't use it though when she goes with her dad. She still takes bottles as well but I been working with her lately on only getting a bottle when she takes a nap and at night. I plan to fully switch her very soon it's a working progress but I don't want to force her. She will take sippy cups with her meals and when we go on a walk. She does drink from a regular cup as well so almost switched over.

Milestones/Random:

* Will try to help me with the dishes and laundry.
* She is wearing shoes more often.
* Again she loves to brush her teeth and will ask to do it.
* She has major tantrums and fits.
* She loves to draw and color.

* Learning to use a spoon and fork.
* Her hair is growing more!
* Loves to smell the flowers.
* She can take off her diaper.
* She will try to put on her clothes.
* Likes to put on everybody else shoes.

My 18 Month Postpartum Belly: I haven't did a postpartum in a while so I thought I would do a update.....

The only exercise I do is going on walks with Chloe and sometimes I will do Yoga for at least 30 mins.

Pretty Little Liars #6 Killer Book Review

Hey everyone!
Today I have a book review for Pretty Little Liars #6 book called Killer. It took me about a month to finish it because I really only read on the days that Chloe is with her dad.

Summary: The girls were at the Charity event at Spencer house I think when they see Ian dead in the woods that is behind Spencer house. The police didn't believe them and people were starting to suspect that the police were covering something up. Wilden was acting weird throughout the whole book. Of course A is back and A has been sending pictures of Alison to the girls so they can figure out what doesn't belong in the pictures. It even showed Wilden going to church to probably confess his sins. Hanna and Kate have to be together at all times so that Hanna can become friends with Kate. In the process Hanna starts to date Mike but is not so happy when Mike goes on dates with Kate as well. Eventually Hanna wins over Mike and they start to date. So the girls don't know whether Ian is dead or alive until Ian sends Melissa a IM message and Spencer sees it. Ian is alive and hiding. So Aria starts to have feelings for Jason and they start to hang out. It's going good till Aria shows him a invitation of a institution being turned into a hotel which used to be called Radley. Anyways Jason gets super angry at Aria but Aria finds out that Wilden and Jason know each other because she saw his yearbook from High School. Now Emily is dating Issac which his mother hates Emily and at first Issac didn't believe Emily until he found a picture of him and Emily but Emily head was cut out of the picture. Spencer is having trouble with her family because they take away her car and money. Spencer and Andrew do some research and find out that Spencer might be adopted. Spencer finds a site where they found her real mom and Spencer meets her in New York. Spencer and her real mom hit it off and have a real connection.... Spencer wants to move to New York but Andrew doesn't think it's a good idea and gets upset with her. Spencer gives money to a agent to buy a apartment in New York but Spencer find out that her so called real mom and the agent con her out of all her money. Spencer is upset because she thought she finally found someone who actually loved her and wanted to be a family with her. Anyways the girls go to a Party at the new Radley Hotel..... Emily finds a register book in one of the rooms and finds out it was everyone who visited the Radley institution for the mentally insane. Emily finds Jason name on the list. So Jason visited a mental institution?!? Anyways the girls find out that Aria kept Alison flag that was stolen back in Middle School and they go get Aria to get the flag to see it while the girls go check on Spencer because she didn't show up and they got a text from A. Hanna and Emily go check on Spencer when the barn catches on fire!!! The girls got out okay and Aria catches up with them in the woods. At the end the girls see someone on the ground sitting down with her hands in her face and they are shocked at what they see.... The girl has blonde hair. The girls think it's Alison but they are not sure if they are hallucinating because of the smoke they are smelling. 

My Thoughts: So everyone knows that the book and show are totally different so it does take me some time to get used to the books since I am a big fan of the show. I think in next book is where the girls will meet Alison twin which I am very interested in seeing how that plays out and how the girls will react to her. 


* The book I am currently reading is Maze Runner which I will be doing a book review on that very soon!*

Since Chloe is with her dad I decided to spend time with my friend Kara because I haven't seen her in a while. We went to Casa Ole and I got Fajita Nachos. I also spent the night over at her place.

This is Kara's new Guinea Pig named Elmo.

We watched The Neighbors or Bad Neighbors anyways it's hilarious I was laughing the whole time. Be warned that it does have nudity. I do recommend this movie.







Sunday Aug. 31:

Tinkerbell and Max decided to chill with me on the couch for a little bit.

I am currently on Chapter 22 of The Maze Runner.

Pretty Little Liars Recap (Season 5 Episode 12) Mid-Season Finale! Who Is Dead???

Hey PLL Fans! Are you sad that we don't get to see anymore episodes till October? Pretty Little Liars is doing a Halloween Special and I also heard they are doing a Christmas Special as well so we shall see. Anyways this is the Mid-Season Finale and the title is called "Taking this one to the grave."

Aria, Emily and Hanna are outside of a house with the police. Detective Holbrook announces that someone is dead and they are ruling it a homicide. Who is dead? Let's go back about 36 hours earlier and find out what happened to cause a murder on Thanksgiving.....

About 36 Hours Earlier.......

Alison goes to the cops to tell them the truth and she gets a lie detector test. The girls turn to Mona for help. Mona calls someone and sends out a code A on Alison. Mona army turns on her because of Alison now they just call Mona "Crazy Mona." Paige kisses Emily! The girls still think that Alison is A and the liars unite to take down Alison. Aria family invites Ezra over for Thanksgiving dinner. Toby surprises Spencer in his police uniform, Toby is graduating! Lucas decides to stay on Mona side and help her out. Emily sets up her family house for Christmas.... "Read her boobs, the girl loves Christmas"- Hanna talking about Emily to Caleb. The liars watch a video of Alison taking the lie detector test and talking to the cops. Police are saying that Spencer killed Bethany and there is a warrant out for her arrest. Spencer and Mona go undercover to Radley to get information on Alison connection to Bethany. Alison and Emily talk..... Alison knows that the girls are calling her A. Detective Holbrook shows up at Radley and calls out Aria. Spencer and Mona find tape recordings and they find out that Alison mom was having a affair with Bethany dad and that Alison might have known Bethany. Toby calls Spencer because she didn't show up to his graduation and he gets into a car accident! Poor Toby!!!!

On Thanksgiving Day.......

Toby is okay he is in a leg cast. Paige tells the girls that she seen Alison with a bunch of people and that Alison is creating a army. Spencer gets arrested for Bethany murder. Mona calls one of the girls and tell them that Alison lured Bethany that night to Rosewood because Alison was jealous of her and wanted Bethany dead. Mona had proof that Alison is A. Aria, Hanna, Ezra and Emily show up at Mona house to find blood all over the house. The police didn't find Mona body but said that Mona is dead and they are ruling it a homicide. What happen was that when Mona called the girls to tell them about Alison someone showed up in the black hoodie and the person had blonde hair. Did Alison kill Mona to shut her up? Anyways at the end we see A open up the car trunk and we see Mona dead body in the trunk. 

My Questions:

Did Alison Kill Mona?

Is Alison really A? Is Alison Head A or is she just working for A? Did she just make a deal with A?

What is going to happen to Spencer?

Is Emily and Paige getting back together?

What will Toby do now that Spencer is going to jail and him being in a leg cast?

Is Aria next to go to jail for Shana death?

How will Hanna deal with Mona death?

Home Remedies and Medicine To Help Your Child Fight a Cold

Hey everyone so cold season is coming up so I thought I would share some home remedies and some products that will help your child when they get a cold. Here are the products that I have for Chloe just in case she gets a cold. It's good to be prepared early because you never know when your child will get sick or get a cold. Also it's important to disinfect toys, door knobs, surfaces, etc.


Home Remedies:

1. A lot of Rest- I think everyone knows that this is important because when your child is resting they are more able to fight off the infection or cold.

2. Humidifier- Breathing in the air will help with the child's nasal passage.

3. Extra fluids- Drinking lots of fluids will help not only keep your child hydrated but also flush out the bacteria and infection.

4. Chicken soup or other warm healthy soup- Warm liquids can help soothe the throat and can help relieve congestion. Studies shows that chicken soup can relieve cold symptoms....

5. Elevating the head- Elevating the head can help them breathe more comfortably.

6. Honey- Using honey helps soothe the throat and helps with a cough. You can give them 1/2-1 teaspoon of honey.


Products that you can get Over The Counter at a Grocery Store or Pharmacy:

This is the Johnson's Baby Bath Soothing Vapor. It comforts babies who have a cold. I used it a couple of times with Chloe when she was congested and it helped.

Boogie Wipes have natural gentle saline which helps open and relieve nasal congestion. I use these all the time with Chloe and they smell amazing.

Children's Motrin help with reducing fever. This has helped Chloe so much when she got a 105 fever.

Here is some cold medicine that I have bought for Chloe. There is the Children's Dimetapp which is for Cold and Cough... It helps with stuffy and runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes and cough. Next is the Little Remedies for Colds Honey Elixir which soothes cough naturally and it is dye and gluten free. Last is the Zarbee's Naturals Baby Cough Syrup.

Last I wanted to share two products with you that helps with nasal congestion. There is the Little Remedies Saline Spray Drops. The other is the Simply Saline Plus Baby Nasal Moisturizer Gel which you just rub around the outside of the nose to help reduce dryness and redness.
